The first major educational opportunity the founders, the Emmons sisters, discovered was a tuition exemption to Florida state colleges, universities and vocational schools for youth who experienced foster care – including those who were adopted – and youth experiencing homelessness. This year more than 6,300 students in the state are currently utilizing the tuition exemption to obtain a postsecondary degree or credential, an increase of more than 350% since 2008.
Our students have proudly graduated from more than 20 different colleges and universities.
During the 2020-2021 academic year Educate Tomorrow's AOK Scholars stayed in pursuit of their college degree despite the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Educate Tomorrow students are currently 70% female and 30% male. 79% of the students are age 15-24. 70% are Black or African American, 10% are Hispanic or Latino and 10% identify as multiracial.
of Educate Tomorrow’s students of 20+ years have a high school diploma or equivalent.
