Sarah Watson-Baik
Field Workshop and Special Projects
With over 20 years of experience as an educator, Sarah brings a globally informed and deeply creative approach to her work at Educate Tomorrow’s FieldWorkshop and in supporting special lens-based projects. She holds a BA (Hons) in Arts & Design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and an MA in Photography and Urban Cultures from Goldsmiths College, both in London.
A Californian Filipino American, Sarah is passionate about uplifting Asian design and visual culture through education and media. She spent 11 years in South Korea, where she worked in cultural storytelling across television and social media, cultivating a nuanced understanding of visual language and narrative across cultures. Now based in Miami, she is a professor at Miami Dade College and Istituto Marangoni Miami, where her teaching centers on analog and tactile creative practices as powerful tools for self-discovery, identity, and creative direction.
At Educate Tomorrow, Sarah merges her passion for tangible media with a belief in inclusive education—helping young people share their voices through visual storytelling.
