Prepatory Academy
The Miami SEED School furthers the mission of The SEED Foundation by providing disadvantaged local youth the opportunity to achieve academic success. As a paradigm for America’s educational revolution, SEED institutes a system of intense academic rigor, balanced by a nurturing environment, to prepare students for college.
The school will house 7th to 12th graders and is projected to open in the fall of 2012. The first class will consist of 30-40 students. In the subsequent years 50-80 students per grade level will be added. Students will live on-campus in dormitories during the week, have access to both mental and academic support in addition to after-school enrichment activities.
