| Blacks Gala |
| Educate Tomorrow was honored to be chosen as a recipient of funds raised for Consequences Foundation at Lea and Roy Black's 15th Annual Gala last month. The annual event, held at the storied Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach, raises funds for at-risk children in South Florida.
Revelers included Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Governor and Mrs. Charlie Crist, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Mourning, Lisa Pliner, and Rene Ruiz. Partygoers were wowed by performances from music legend and nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist Natalie Cole, Latin pop sensation Paulina Rubio, and Platinum recording artist Rick Ross. At the end of the evening, guests were treated to an exhibition boxing match between top heavyweight boxer Fres Oquendo and martial artist Andrei Arlovski.
The generosity and dedication of Lea Black to the problems of our community's underprivileged youth is unmatched, and we thank her for her support of our programs.
